    UPDATE FOR GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT

    Please note the following updates and changes for the Guidance Department regarding Requests for Transcripts (Former and Current Students), Letters of Recommendations, and Scholarships. 
     
     
    TRANSCRIPTS/LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION
     
    IF YOU ARE A CURRENT OR FORMER STUDENT AND NEED A TRANSCRIPT AND/OR LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION, PLEASE FILL OUT THE STUDENT TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM FOUND BELOW.  THESE REQUESTS MUST INCLUDE AN EMAIL ADDRESS TO WHICH THE TRANSCRIPTS AND/OR  RECOMMENDATION LETTERS SHOULD BE SENT.  ​THE EMAIL ADDRESS PROVIDED NEEDS TO BE THE DIRECT EMAIL FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP OR BUSINESS ORGANIZATION.  WE ARE NOT ABLE TO SEND TRANSCRIPTS OR LETTER OF RECOMMENDATIONS TO A PERSONAL EMAIL. ONCE COMPLETE, PLEASE EMAIL THESE FORMS TO matyler@millerplace.k12.ny.us.  WE ARE NOT IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE SO WE ARE NOT  ABLE TO MAIL OR FAX FROM THE GUIDANCE OFFICE.

    SCHOLARSHIPS
     
    Please click on the Scholarship link below to view all Scholarship postings and updates. You need to fill out the Current Student Transcript Form if you need a transcript or letters of recommendation for the scholarship.  Remember to include direct email addresses only, no personal email addresses.

    2020 Veterinary Medicine Career Exploration Program 

     Sponsored by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County

    This program is designed for youth in grades 9-12 who are interested in pursuing a career in Veterinary MedicineThis  program includes a lecture series and a veterinarian shadowing experience.  The Programs start in February and registration is required.  For more information visit www.ccesuffolk.org.    The Cooperative Extension is also offering offering other High School opportunities for students interested in learining about farm animals.  For more information visit www.ccesuffolk.org


    Automotive Education & Career Fair

    Tuesday, April 14th & Wednesday, April 15th, Javits Center, NYC, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

    New York International Auto Show will have many exhibitors at this fair.  Tickets are required, visit tickets@autoshowny.com for more information.  Orders must be placed by March 23, 2020.  After that, tickets will be available to be picked up onsite in the show office.
